A Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and an Illinois license are required. This is a 0.5 FTE daytime position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in speech-language therapy.
• Experience in home health care preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of speech-language therapy techniques and interventions.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate patients and families effectively.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy to address disorders and dysphagia.
• Develop and update individualized therapy plans.
• Educate patients and families about disorders and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, sessions, and progress in the EHR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
