Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will partner with patients, families, and the care team to enhance communication, safety, independence, and quality of life in the home.

Primary responsibilities include assessment and treatment of adults with speech and language disorders, aural rehabilitation for the deaf or hard of hearing, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to that state you are assigned to work
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum from a CAE-accredited program
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Working to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults
• Provides aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provides AAC systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders
• Other duties as assigned
