Job summary

Tutor Me LA LLC is seeking a dedicated Special Education In-Person Tutor in San Francisco, CA. In this role, you will provide personalized one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. The ideal candidate has special education experience and a passion for helping students succeed.

Your responsibilities will include developing tailored instruction based on Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and fostering a supportive learning environment. We offer flexible scheduling and opportunities to make a real difference!

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs and accommodations is preferred.
• Must be able to adapt materials and teaching methods to fit the unique learning styles of students.
• Able to pass an in-person background check if required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions for students with special education needs.
• Develop personalized lesson plans and strategies that align with student IEPs.
• Track and document student progress, adapting methods as necessary.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and parents for cohesive learning.
