Job summary

EchoStar is seeking a field technician to install and service DISH equipment and smart home products at customers' homes. You will educate customers on device usage and upsell additional services when appropriate, while maintaining a clean work area and a professional demeanor.

You may travel regionally and work shifts including evenings or weekends to support customer needs. The role offers paid training, comprehensive benefits, a company vehicle, uniform, and opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required.
Willingness to travel; schedule may include evenings, weekends or holidays.
Physical ability to climb ladders up to 40 ft, lift up to 70 lbs, weight limit 335 lbs.
Customer-focused with the ability to educate customers on tech.
Strong problem-solving and adaptability in field conditions.

Responsibilities

Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes.
Teach customers how to use their tech and offer additional services when helpful.
Maintain a clean work area and stay professional while working independently but connected with the team.
