Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support a 6th-grade homebound student for the 2026/2027 school year in Ohio. This contract-based role focuses on delivering school-based services in the home.

The OT will develop and implement IEP-aligned plans, address fine motor and sensory processing, and monitor progress, collaborating with teachers and families to maximize academic participation.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT with active credentials for school settings.
• Experience with K-12 students, including homebound cases.
• Ability to develop and implement IEP-aligned treatment plans.
• Familiarity with documentation and progress reporting in education.
• Strong collaboration with educators and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct in-home occupational therapy to a 6th-grade student.
• Assess fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills to support learning.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to tailor interventions.
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies to maximize outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input on goals and strategies.
• Use adaptive tools and activities to engage the student at home.
