Job summary

Shiny Go Clean Madison is seeking experienced residential cleaners to join our Madison team. You bring cleaning expertise, supplies, a reliable vehicle, and your own schedule; we provide opportunities, handle scheduling and billing, and pay every Tuesday for completed jobs.

As an independent contractor, you decide which opportunities to accept, provide your own supplies and transportation, and manage taxes and business expenses. A W-9 and IC agreement are required before you start.

Qualifications

• Paid residential cleaning experience is required.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.
• You must have liability insurance or be willing to obtain it.
• Must communicate plans clearly when schedule changes.

Responsibilities

• Clean homes to client standards and maintain quality.
• Accept only assignments you choose and manage your time.
• Provide your own supplies and transportation; handle taxes as an IC.

What You Can Earn

• Most jobs work out to $25-$30 per cleaning hour in base payouts
• Keep 100% of your tips
• Additional incentives when eligible - we want happy clients!

Pay is a flat project rate, never an hourly wage. Actual earnings depend on the jobs you accept, completion time, team size, tips, and incentives. Job volume is not guaranteed.

We offer recurring, deep-cleaning, and move-in/move-out opportunities throughout Madison and nearby communities.

You'll Need

• Paid residential cleaning experience
• Your own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Your own cleaning supplies, vacuum, and mop
• General liability insurance, or willingness to obtain it
• Willingness to complete a company-paid background screening
• The ability to communicate clearly when plans change

A quick heads-up: this is probably not for you if you need guaranteed hours, need us to provide your equipment, regularly cancel at the last minute, or disappear when someone texts you.

The 1099 Details

This is an independent contractor opportunity, not W-2 employment.

You decide which opportunities to accept, provide your own supplies and transportation, handle your own taxes and business expenses, and remain free to work with other companies and clients.
