Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem RN Trainer to provide Face-2-Face training to home testing customers in the Bloomington, MN area. The role requires travel to patient homes, setting up training appointments, and demonstrating PT/INR equipment while ensuring secure handling of PHI.

Strong clinical background and RN license are required. The position supports flexible scheduling, with travel up to 100 miles round trip and remote coordination with the company.

Qualifications

• The Trainer must have clinical experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Experience with anticoagulation management or homecare preferred.
• Health education training experience a definite plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely set up training appointment directly with the customer/caregiver.
• Travel to the customers home setting within the general geographic location of the Trainer's home.
• Demonstrate and instruct on the proper use and care of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test reporting options.
• Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically.
• Maintain communications with Acelis Connected Health by cell phone, email and internet access.
