Job summary

Giving Home Health Care, LLC in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for a contract role delivering in-home patient care under a physician care plan. The RN will work on a 1099 basis, visiting patients at home with a schedule of 4 hours/month and compensation of $40–$42 per hour.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, 1+ year clinical/home health experience, TB testing willingness, and reliable transportation for travel to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse.
• 1+ years of RN experience in a clinical or home health setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Willing to get TB tested.
• Maintain required insurance.
• Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to the patient's home.

Responsibilities

• Execute physician-prescribed plans of care.
• Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record.
• Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies.
• Perform activities of daily living.
• Monitor for changes in the patient’s condition.
• Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding the patient’s health.
• Work one-on-one in the patient’s home to provide a comfortable environment.
• Collaborate with and supervise CNAs and Personal Care Attendants.
• Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs.
