Job summary

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide in-home patient care in the Panhandle, TX area. This is a 1099 contract position with day-to-day patient visits and a schedule that supports flexible assignments.

You will execute physician plans, document care thoroughly, administer medications, and coordinate with families and physicians. Ideal candidates have RN licensure, CPR, and a year of home health experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in a State or Compact
• 1+ year RN experience in clinical or home health setting
• Current CPR certification
• Willing to get TB test
• Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to patients' homes

Responsibilities

• Execute physician-prescribed plans of care
• Complete compliant documentation in the system
• Manage and administer medications and therapies
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor patient condition and progression
• Communicate with family, physicians, and case managers
• Provide one-on-one care in the patient’s home
• Collaborate with CNAs and Personal Care Attendants
• Perform additional personal care services as needed
