Job summary

FirstLight Home Care of Morristown and Wayne is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time role. You will perform in-home client assessments, help create and monitor Care Plans, and supervise aides delivering services to clients in their residences.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, at least two years of in-home care experience, and some supervisory experience. Proficiency with MS Office or Google Suite and scheduling software is preferred, along with excellent

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved nursing program; RN licensure.
• Minimum of two years in-home care experience.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Oversees client services and ensures client needs are met.
• Conducts annual evaluations, competencies, state regulations, and accreditation where applicable.
• Provides and coordinates services in accordance with the Service Plan/Care Plan.
• Makes the initial evaluation visit and regularly reevaluates the client’s needs.
• Initiates the Service Plan/Care Plan and necessary revisions, and physicians orders, if applicable.
• Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative non-medical procedures.
• Documents client assessments, Care Plan, supervisory visits, caregiver and client education, and training.
• Informs personnel of changes in the condition and needs of the client.
• Communicates and counsels the client and family regarding service needs.
