Job summary

The Helper Bees in Champaign, IL seeks Independent Contracted Nurse assessors to perform face-to-face cognitive and functional assessments in claimants' homes. This is a per diem, 1099 contract role focusing on accuracy, objectivity, and timely reporting to support quality care for older adults living at home.

You’ll use a portable computer or tablet with a camera, coordinate scheduling with clients, submit assessments within 24 hours, and earn $125 per assessment within a 35 mile radius.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license (Illinois) and have 5+ years of RN experience.
• Experience with geriatric medications and chronic conditions is preferred.
• Per diem independent contractor engaging in home assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cognitive and functional assessments in clients' homes.
• Submit assessments within 24 hours; respond to clarifications within 48 hours.
• Coordinate scheduling with clients or contacts.
• Maintain objectivity while observing and reporting current status.
