Job summary

Full Armor Supportive Care LLC is seeking several PRN Direct Support Professionals to assist children and adults with developmental disabilities in home settings. You may cover respite hours with assignments scheduled at least 48 hours in advance when possible.

The DSP role reports to the Program Manager and requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities include personal care, safety, medication reminders (with training), meal planning, light

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and related issues.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and mobility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks including hygiene, grooming, feeding and mobility.
• Ensure client safety and a safe living environment.
• Assist with toileting and self-administration of medications (with training).
• Plan meals, shop for groceries, prepare and serve food, and clean up after meals.
• Transport clients or run errands as needed.
