Job summary

The role includes setup of respiratory devices and coordination with physicians, with responsibilities spanning patient instruction and care documentation.

The RT-1 position requires a Graduate from an accredited RT Care Program and a licensed RCP, with strong customer service and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited RT Care Program (licensed RCP).
• Experience as Respiratory Therapist.
• Thorough knowledge and skill related to respiratory care field.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receives and documents orders for respiratory equipment or services.
• Assesses patient needs and selects appropriate respiratory therapy.
• Educates patients and families on equipment use and care.
• Communicates with physicians about changes in patient condition.
• Maintains patient care documentation and plans.
• Provides 24-hour on-call service as scheduled.
