Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or RN to deliver in-home respiratory care to patients using ventilators and oxygen therapy.

You will perform in-home visits, educate patients, and ensure high-quality care outside traditional clinical settings. External candidates may receive a $2,000 gross sign-on bonus after 60 days and an additional $2,000 after 180 days of continuous employment, with a strong emphasis on autonomy, education, and patient-centered

Qualifications

• Active licensure in your state as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) or other acceptable medical credential
• Willingness to obtain licensure in neighboring states if required by service area
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience
• Experience in home respiratory care or home healthcare
• Completion of an accredited program in respiratory care, nursing, or a related paramedical field
• Background check and drug screen as part of employment process

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home respiratory therapy and clinical support to patients
• Set up and monitor ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other high‑tech equipment
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings per policy
• Educate patients on equipment use and therapy benefits
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with licensure requirements
• Participate in on-call phone coverage after business hours
• Assist with staff orientation and training as needed
• Perform duties in accordance with state licensure laws
