Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. seeks a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home healthcare team.

Provide in-home respiratory therapy and support to patients using ventilators and oxygen, delivering personalized care outside traditional clinics. You will work with autonomy in a patient-centered environment, engage in education, and participate in on-call rotations, with training and support provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active licensure in primary state as Respiratory Therapist or other credential (RRT/CRT, RC, RN, LPN, LPV) per state laws.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in neighboring states as needed.
• Preferred: completion of accredited program in respiratory care, nursing, or related field.
• Preferred: experience in home respiratory care or home healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home patient assessments and provide clinical education on respiratory equipment.
• Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs and physician orders.
• Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment for optimal function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient interactions.
• Provide ongoing phone support and follow-up care for respiratory patients.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive to patient homes as needed.
• Support training and orientation of new clinical staff.
