Rotech Healthcare Inc. in Springfield, IL is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver in-home respiratory therapy and clinical support.

You will manage ventilators and oxygen therapy, educate patients, and work outside traditional clinical settings to improve lives. This role offers hands-on patient care, autonomy in the home, and collaborative teamwork with a strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active licensure as Respiratory Therapist or RN/LPN where required.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in neighboring states when needed.

Responsibilities

• In-home assessments and education on respiratory equipment.
• Adjust ventilator settings per patient needs and orders.
• Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and interactions.
• Provide ongoing phone support and follow-up care.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive to home visits.
• Assist in training and orientation of new staff.
