Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or RN to deliver in‑home respiratory therapy and clinical support. You will work with patients using ventilators and oxygen, providing hands‑on care outside traditional clinical settings.

You will educate patients, adjust therapies, document thoroughly, and participate in on‑call rotations while maintaining high standards of safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) or other acceptable medical credential.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in neighboring states if required by service area.
• Experience in home respiratory care or home healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑home patient assessments and provide clinical education on respiratory equipment.
• Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs and physician orders.
• Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment to ensure optimal function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient interactions.
• Provide ongoing phone support and follow-up care for respiratory patients.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and drive a vehicle for home visits as needed.
• Support training and orientation of new clinical staff.
