Job summary

Baptist Health Home Care KY, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant I (PTA) for home health in the Paducah, Calloway, and Marshall counties area. The PTA will work Monday–Friday, 8 am–4:30 pm, delivering skilled services under a Physical Therapist, educating patients and families, and ensuring safe, compliant care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a PTA in an acute setting is required.
• Home care experience is desired.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled services in a patient’s home as developed by the Physical Therapist plan of care.
• Observes, records, and reports patient reactions, changes, and progress.
• Performs physical therapy procedures and diagnostic tests as prescribed.
• Educates patient and family on therapy techniques, safety measures, and equipment use.
