PT Near Me in Florida is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver skilled therapy in patients' homes, covering Old Town, Fanning Springs, Jena, and nearby Dixie County.

As a 1099 contractor you’ll set your own hours and caseload, with scheduling and the administrative back-office handled for you, so you can focus on treatment and patient outcomes. This role emphasizes autonomy and patient-centered home-based rehab across a multi-town service area.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license or license-eligible.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel within service area independently.

Responsabilités

• Deliver skilled treatment under a PT-authored plan of care in patients' homes — therapeutic exercise, mobility and gait training, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and trigger-point techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, mobility strategies, and safety.
• Document each visit accurately and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Keep every home visit safe and professional.
• Treat a range of cases — post-accident, post-surgical, and chronic-condition patients.
