Job summary

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team, providing in-home physical therapy to patients in Northern California's Bay Area. The PTA will work under a supervising Physical Therapist to improve mobility and independence at patients' homes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program, active California PTA license, CPR/BLS, and willingness to travel within Contra Costa and Alameda counties.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
Active California PTA license.
CPR/BLS certification.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes.
Home healthcare experience.
Experience with the Kinnser/WellSky EMR preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

Provide in-home physical therapy visits under the supervision of a PT.
Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement.
Document visits in WellSky/Kinnser in a timely manner.
Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team.
