Job summary

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide in-home PT services in Northern California. The PTA will work under a supervising Physical Therapist to improve patients' mobility and independence across Bay Area homes.

The role supports a dedicated clinical team, with opportunities to travel within Contra Costa and Alameda Counties, and benefits for full-time clinicians. Home healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active California PTA license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes.
• Home healthcare experience.
• Experience with the Kinnser/WellSky EMR preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home physical therapy visits under the supervision of a PT.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement.
• Document visits in WellSky/Kinnser in a timely manner.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team.
