Job summary

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-home Home Health team in Northern California's Bay Area. This role offers either full-time or part-time/per diem options and requires travel to patient homes under PT supervision.

You will deliver high-quality physical therapy, help patients regain independence, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure comprehensive patient-centered care. Training and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active California PTA license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes.
• Home healthcare experience.
• Experience with the Kinnser/WellSky EMR preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home physical therapy visits under the supervision of a PT.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement.
• Document visits in WellSky/Kinnser in a timely manner.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team.

Apollo Home Healthcare is hiring a full-time or part-time/per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team, serving patients in Northern California's Bay Area. In this role, you will provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them regain independence and improve their daily functioning. You will work closely with a supervising Physical Therapist and a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
