Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking aFT Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home patient visits under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

You will guide patients through exercises, gait training, and ADL activities in a home health setting. The role requires an unrestricted PTA license, a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and at least one year of PTA experience in home health.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification is required.
• Valid state-issued driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation; willingness to travel.
• One year of professional experience as a Physical Therapist in a home health or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home patient visits based on the plan of care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes to the supervising provider.
• Educate patient and family on how to participate and contribute to rehabilitation.
