Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home visits within Defiance and surrounding counties. You will work under a Physical Therapist, delivering prescribed exercises, gait and activity training, and ADL support.

Qualifications include an active PTA license, CPR/First Aid, reliable transportation, and at least 1 year of home health experience. Part-time/PRN scheduling with daily pay options is available.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the relevant state.
• CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification current.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel.
• At least 1 year of professional PTA experience in home health or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home patient visits based on the patient’s plan of care under the direction of a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfers, and safety.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising provider.
• Educate patients and families on participation and rehabilitation strategies.
