Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to deliver in-home services for patients with neuro and/or musculoskeletal disorders, under physician supervision. The role emphasizes comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and documentation while maintaining high standards of care.

The ideal candidate has an accredited PT degree, current state license, CPR certification, and a valid driver''s license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state license.
• Valid driver''s license.
• CPR certification.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Energetic, good time management and problem solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently with occasional heavier lifting.
• Able to work independently and handle emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home physical therapy services under physician direction.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Schedule patient visits in a timely and efficient manner; coordinate with office daily.
• Communicate with agency staff, physicians, hospital staff, and the public; maintain confidentiality.
• Be prepared for weekend and on-call rotations.
