Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or Master’s degree in a PT-related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of PT experience.
• The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population.
• Evaluate and treat in the most functional environment, in patients' homes or in independent living facilities.
• Develop and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as required.
• Coordinate referrals to other disciplines to meet comprehensive patient needs.

Education

Master's degree in Physical Therapy

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years PT experience

Foreign PT degree evaluated for US equivalence
