Job summary

AmeriStaff Nursing Services is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to provide in-home therapy visits to patients throughout the Metro Detroit area. This contingent home visit position offers autonomy, flexibility, and competitive visit-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current, valid Michigan Physical Therapist license.
• Minimum of one year of Physical Therapy experience.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services during in-home patient visits across the Metro Detroit area.
• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety practices.
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Comply with all clinical standards, documentation requirements, and HIPAA regulations.
