Job summary

AmeriStaff Nursing Services is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to provide in-home therapy visits across the Metro Detroit area. This contingent home health role offers autonomy, flexibility, and patient-focused care in patients' homes.

You will evaluate and treat patients, educate caregivers, and collaborate with the care team while maintaining compliance with clinical standards and HIPAA. In‑home visits enable meaningful, one-on-one patient care with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current, valid, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Michigan.
• Minimum one year of Physical Therapy experience.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services during in-home patient visits across the Metro Detroit area.
• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety practices.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Ensure compliance with all clinical standards, documentation requirements, and HIPAA regulations.
