Job summary

Home&Care Home Health is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to support in-home patient care in Billings, MT. Implement treatment plans and perform therapeutic exercises under supervision.

Applicants must have an APTA-accredited associate degree, a current Montana PT license, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and CPR certification. Scheduling and documentation duties may be required.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

Administer Treatment Plans under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
Perform non-complex active and passive therapeutic exercises and modalities.
Document patient care and submit paperwork weekly.
Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services.
Report equipment or supply issues to PT or Executive Director.
Schedule patients and perform office tasks as needed.
Apply infection control and universal precautions.
Accept clinical assignments matching education and competence.
Promote compliance with fiscal intermediaries and third-party payors through education and coaching.
