Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is hiring Personal Support Specialists to provide in-home care for adults and seniors in Windham, Maine. You will support daily living, safety, and independence in clients’ homes according to each plan of care.

No experience is required; comprehensive training and ongoing supervision are provided. The role offers flexible shifts—full-time or part-time—with opportunities for career advancement through certifications and nursing pathways.

Qualifications

• Must be 17+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; active PSS certification in Maine or willingness to enroll within 60 days of hire.
• CNA (active or inactive) accepted.
• No experience required – training and support provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Support mobility and transfers, including use of mobility aids.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and changing bed linens.
• Meal preparation, serving, grocery shopping, and errands as per care plan.
• Provide companionship and support daily routines or hobbies.
