Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is seeking Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to deliver in-home non-medical support to adults and seniors. No experience needed as training is provided; duties include personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meals, and companionship in client homes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Active PSS certification in the State of Maine, OR willingness to enroll within 60 days of hire.
• CNA (active or inactive) accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and basic hygiene.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, including safe movement with/without mobility aids.
• Help with household tasks related to care (light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, changing bed linens).
• Assist with meal preparation, serving, grocery shopping, and errands as outlined in the care plan.
• Provide companionship and support daily routines or hobbies.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition or safety concerns to supervisor.
