Job summary

UVM Health Network - Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Personal Care Attendant to assist clients in their homes with non-medical care tasks. You will help with dressing, bathing, grooming, housekeeping, meal planning and transportation under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required plus PCA training.
• Must complete PCA coursework and pass the required exam.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and work with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, bathing and personal hygiene.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal planning and basic meals.
• Provide mobility assistance and client transfer help.
• Transport clients and accompany them to appointments as needed.
• Maintain client safety and report changes to supervisor.
