Job summary

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in Saline, MI. You will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being in a respectful and professional manner.

• Experience in personal care or healthcare preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Flexible availability to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Document care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to supervisors
• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
