Visiting Angels of Baytown seeks an In Home Personal Aide to support seniors in their homes across Liberty, Raywood, Dayton, and surrounding areas. You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility support while promoting independence and dignity.

The role emphasizes compassionate, attentive care, adherence to health and safety standards, and collaboration with families to ensure client well-being. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• Heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene tasks.
• Manage light housekeeping and meal preparation with client input.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take prescribed medications on time.
• Shop for groceries or assist with shopping and put away groceries.
• Support mobility and accompany clients to appointments or outings.
