Job summary

Visiting Angels of Beaumont is hiring an In Home Personal Aide to support seniors in their homes across the Beaumont area. You will assist with daily living activities, nutrition, medication prompts, light housekeeping, and mobility support.

A caring, dependable presence helps clients stay independent at home. We offer per-hour pay with benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, sign-on bonus, and options for weekly or daily pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent time-management and reliable transportation are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks is expected.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response is preferred.
• A caring attitude toward vulnerable seniors and companionship is valued.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene needs.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks around the client's home.
• Encourage and support fitness goals for clients.
• Prompt medication reminders and monitoring as directed.
• Assist with shopping and meal planning/preparation.
• Support mobility and accompany clients to appointments or activities.
• Respond quickly in emergencies and report health changes promptly.
