Job summary

Visiting Angels Waco is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes. We are seeking an In Home Personal Aide with weekday and weekend availability to build a flexible schedule and care for clients in Waco and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly
• MUST be able to work weekends
• Be over 18 years old
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check
• Professional references
• Reliable transportation of your own that you will be driving
• Valid Driver’s License/clean driving record/proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.)
• Medication reminders
• Monitoring/safety supervision
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry, errands and shopping
• Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting 50lbs and above
• Supportive companionship
• Respond quickly in case of an emergency
• Transportation to and from appointments

In Home Personal Aide

Visiting Angels Waco is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for an In Home Personal Aide who has availability on weekdays AND weekends. In Home Personal Aide shifts can be any length of time between 1 hour to 12 hours- day OR night! We coordinate with your availability and our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our goal is to schedule you for a MINIMUM of 20 hours/week, which means you can pick up AS MANY clients as you'd like!!! Our clients reside in Waco and surrounding areas (Woodway, Hewitt, China Spring, West, Clifton, Valley Mills, Gatesville, Hillsboro, and MORE) therefore, an In Home Personal Aide MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will drive to and from each client and be willing to travel outside of Waco. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!
