Job summary

Encompass is hiring an Occupational Therapist to work with birth to three children in home, childcare, or community settings. You’ll plan and implement developmental supports with the ESIT team and families, focusing on functional development and daily living participation.

The role uses a parent coaching model, emphasizes transdisciplinary collaboration, and requires WA state OT licensure along with CPS/Background checks. In-home visits and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with WA licensure.
• Criminal history and FBI fingerprint check required if not in state in 3 years.
• Infant and child CPR, first aid, and bloodborne pathogens training within 90 days of hire.
• Valid WA driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Preferred: Early Intervention experience; pediatric experience; bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Develop ongoing individualized goals and progress reports for each child.
• Complete daily treatment notes, evaluation reports, and billing timely.
• Monitor caseload requirements and manage referrals.
• Provide parent/family coaching during home visits to support participation.
• Conduct transdisciplinary consultations with other providers as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and flexibility in collaboration with supervisors and families.
