The nurse will deliver direct patient care, monitor conditions, manage equipment such as feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators, and educate families on care techniques while coordinating with physicians and therapists.

Qualifications

• Pediatric nursing experience required; home care preferred.
• LPN or RN licensed in Georgia with current license.
• BLS certification required for all candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in the home setting.
• Manage and maintain medical equipment including feeding tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators, and seizure logs.
• Administer medications and respiratory therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in status.
• Document care provided and communicate with healthcare team.
• Educate families on care techniques and provide support.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and nursing standards.
