As an In Home Patient Care Assistant - PCA, you will help clients with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship while following each client’s care plan.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed).
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Provide assistance with mobility and appointments/errands.
