As a PCA, you will provide personal care, assist with light exercise and meals, handle light housekeeping, remind about medications, and offer warm companionship.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities are required.
• Reliable transportation to client homes for scheduled shifts.
• Physically capable of assisting clients and performing light housekeeping and cooking tasks within safety guidelines.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards (e.g., background checks).
• Bring compassion and a genuine desire to brighten each client’s day.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications on schedule.
• Support mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
