Visiting Angels Sioux Falls is hiring In Home Patient Care Assistants (PCA) to enrich clients’ quality of life in their own homes across Sioux Falls and nearby areas. You’ll deliver compassionate, personalized care per each client’s plan, including personal care, meal prep, mobility support, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent time-management skills with ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes on schedule.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking within dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards (background check).
• Compassionate, patient attitude and desire to brighten clients’ day.
• 1+ year caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

In Home Patient Care Assistant - PCA Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
• 1 plus year of caregiving experience is preferred.
