Visiting Angels in the Quad Cities region is seeking an In Home Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support clients in Davenport, Bettendorf and surrounding communities. This role emphasizes compassionate personal care, mobility assistance, meal planning, light housekeeping and dependable companionship.

You'll work under custom care plans, with flexible schedules, training opportunities in dementia/Alzheimer's care, and chances for growth within the nation’s leading at-home care network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid training and Emergency response required (provided if needed).
• Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while following dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards (background check).
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten each client’s day.

In Home Patient Care Assistant - PCA Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
