Job summary

Visiting Angels Temple seeks compassionate In Home Patient Care Assistants to provide non-medical home care to seniors in Temple and surrounding areas. Shifts range day/night from 1 to 12 hours, with a minimum of 20 hours/week and travel between clients. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include hygiene, meal prep, mobility assistance, and safety supervision. Must have 1+ year caregiving, be 18+, and have reliable transportation; weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Must have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly.

In Home Patient Care Assistant

Visiting Angels Temple is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for an In Home Patient Care Assistant who has availability on weekdays AND weekends. In Home Patient Care Assistant shifts can be any length of time between 1 hour to 12 hours- day OR night! We coordinate with your availability and our clients' needs to build your perfect schedule! Our goal is to schedule you for a MINIMUM of 20 hours/week, which means you can pick up AS MANY clients as you'd like!!! Our clients reside in Temple and surrounding areas (Copperas Cove, Killeen, Lampasas, Belton, Cameron, Rockdale, and MORE) therefore, an In Home Patient Care Assistant MUST have reliable transportation of your own that you will drive to and from each client and be willing to travel outside of Temple. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!

In Home Patient Care Assistant job duties include but are not limited to:
