Job summary

Native American Rehabilitation Assoc. of the NW is seeking a Parent Support Specialist in Gresham, OR for in-person work, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm. You will conduct parenting assessments and develop plans with the Parenting Program Coordinator while collaborating with DHS and community partners.

The role emphasizes in-home services, family-driven, strength-based approaches, and maintaining professional boundaries. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in human services.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and access to reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to work in a team and facilitate groups.

Responsibilities

• Complete and review Parenting Assessments for referred families.
• Develop and implement parenting plans with the Parenting Program Coordinator.
• Provide in-home and community-based services per DHS/NARA Northwest contracts.
• Transport children to visits and appointments.
• Maintain regular communication with DHS and partners.
