Job summary

Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest, Inc. (NARA) is seeking a Parent Support Specialist for in-home and community-based services in Gresham, OR. You will conduct parenting assessments and partner with the Parenting Program Coordinator and DHS to develop and implement parenting plans.

You will deliver strength-based, family-driven services, maintain regular communication with DHS and partners, and help coordinate transportation and meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Complete parenting assessments.
• Develop parenting plans in collaboration with the Parenting Program Coordinator and DHS.
• Provide in-home and community-based services as contracted with DHS.

Responsibilities

• Complete and review parenting assessments for referred children and relatives.
• Incorporate strengths-based interventions into plans of care.
• Deliver family-driven, strength-based services and coordinate with DHS and partners.
• Transport children to visitation and appointments as needed.
• Collaborate with team to inform planning and decision-making.
