Job summary

The Family & Children's Place is seeking an Ongoing Home Visitor in Louisville to provide in-home education and intervention for expectant parents and newborns, strengthening the parent-child bond and helping children meet developmental milestones.

Home visitors collaborate with families to establish child development goals and utilize the Growing Great Kids curriculum to promote engagement and program objectives.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED with experience in social/health fields or related work.
• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) credential also accepted.
• Bachelor’s in nursing or related field plus 1 year case management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home education and intervention services to expectant parents and newborns.
• Strengthen parent–child bonds and support developmental milestones.
• Collaborate with families to set development goals and share Growing Great Kids curriculum.
• Connect families with community resources and maintain a flexible schedule.

Education

High School graduate/GED

Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or related field with 1 year case management experience
