Job summary

Amazing Care Home Health Services is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to deliver home health OT services in the St. George area. The OT will evaluate clients, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and caregivers to improve function and independence.

Requirements include a master’s or doctoral degree in OT, Utah OT license, NBCOT certification, and active BLS. A driver’s license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in occupational therapy (OT) required.
• NBCOT Certification mandatory.
• Active Utah OT license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Valid driver's license with auto insurance.
• 1 year OT experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop a plan of care with skilled OT interventions.
• Assist clients (pediatric and adult) to improve cognitive, physical, sensory, or daily living skills.
• Coordinate care with physicians and health-care providers to ensure safe, appropriate OT services.
• Instruct clients and families on the treatment plan and home programs.
• Identify needs for additional services and refer as appropriate.
• Prepare and submit documentation per policy and maintain clinical competency.
