Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation in Riverdale, NY seeks licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants to provide hands-on, in-home and senior living care under supervision of an OT, delivering personalized treatment plans and guiding patients through therapeutic activities

This role offers mentorship from a supervising OT and growth within an interdisciplinary team focused on building strength, mobility and independence for older adults.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program
• Current CPR certification
• Basic computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized treatment plans established by supervising OT, adjusting activities based on patient response
• Instruct, motivate and safeguard patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
• Document visits accurately and on time in FOX's EMR system
• Coordinate with patients, POAs, and community referral sources to ensure coverage when needed
