Job summary

Ignite Rehab, operating as part of Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work full time under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role covers Morris-Passaic-Bergen counties with travel to patients\' homes, a 30-visit weekly schedule, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• First Aid, AED, CPR certifications.
• Ability to travel to patients\' homes within the assigned geographic territory.

Responsibilities

• Implements the occupational therapy plan of care as directed by the supervising OT.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment per physician care plan and agency policy.
• Instructs family members and caregivers in OT techniques.
• Travel to patients\' homes within your territory.
• Maintain strong communication with patients, staff, and management.
• Willingness to treat geriatric patients.
