Job summary

Masters In Home Care, LLC seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patients in the North Haven area, working under the supervision of an OT or PT.

You will provide ongoing therapy per the established Plan of Care, adjust treatment as needed with prior approval, and ensure timely documentation. A CT OTA license and at least 1 year of OTA experience are required; home care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Training program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association and current certification.
• One year experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Competency and proficiency testing appropriate for the position at hire.
• Valid Connecticut OTA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing therapy services per established plan after initial evaluation.
• Adjust treatment regimes with prior approval based on patient status.
• Plan and travel efficiently to maximize patient care.
• Follow Plan of Care and document interventions as directed.
• Submit documentation within agency guidelines.
• Monitor visit frequency and duration against orders and Plan of Care.
